Stiletto in the Ghetto a Laneway Events Success

The night was a fabulous success, with several hundred people attending the event creating the most amazing atmosphere in Hynes St Laneway.

Timmy from 7PM Project joined in and had a great time with our gorgeous models (Vivien's Model Management) and a laugh during the cross for the Whip Around.

Sinead Burgess kick started the night with her live performance of songs from her debut album, not only did she look stunning but she rocked the runway and certainly got the crowd pumping.

The Fresh Elements dance crew surprised everyone by taking to the catwalk and busting out some ghetto inspired moves, the dancers were dressed by various emerging designers from Young Designers Online

Then it was time for our models to strut their stuff all in aid of fashion and flood relief, the girls looked fabulous in outfits supplied by local Brisbane Boutiques Garnsis Boutique and City Dweller.

Then we had designs by the beautiful and European inspired Kini Bikini, whose mix of crocheted and lycra swim wear made for a fabulous catwalk show.

Our MC and local Auctioneer, Haesley Cush, took to the catwalk with his auctioneers hammer and the bidding began on designer pieces worn by some of our favourite local celebrities.
Some of the designs had been made especially for the evening and donated by local boutiques and local and interstate designers.

After the auction our models took to the catwalk for round two, this time they wore designs by local fashion label Neon Heartache, Subfusco and the newest label to hit the streets of Fortitude Valley (boutique now open at James St), SOOT.
